Refund Policy

We hope you are happy with your order from Corpus Bookshop. If you need to return an item, please read the information below.

Returns

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 calendar days  of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To request a return, please email us within this period at info@corpusbookshop.com with:

- Your name
- Your order number
- The item or items you wish to return
- The reason for your return, if you wish to share it

You may also use the model withdrawal form included in our [Terms of Service](https://corpusbookshop.com/policies/terms-of-service), but this is not required.

Please include your name and order number inside the parcel.

Condition of returned items

Items must be returned in their original condition. You may inspect an item as you would in a physical bookshop, but you are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item’s nature, characteristics and functioning.

Please pack books and printed matter carefully to avoid damage in transit. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage.

Return costs

Unless an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of return postage.

If we sent you an incorrect item or an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at info@corpusbookshop.com  before returning it. We will provide instructions and arrange an appropriate solution.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

Where a refund is due, we will issue it to the original payment method within **14 days** of receiving the returned item or proof that it has been sent back, whichever comes first.

For a withdrawal from an entire order, we will refund the original standard delivery cost where required by law. Any additional charge for a premium or express delivery option is not refundable.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges through the online shop. If you would like a different title or edition, please return the original item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.

Non-returnable items

The legal right of withdrawal does not apply to items that are personalised or made to order. It may also not apply to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
