Reflejos PICASSO X BARCELÓ Reflections / Miguel López-Remiro Forcada, Tania Fábrega García, Laura Esparragosa Díaz

The catalogue Reflejos. Picasso × Barceló proposes a unique dialogue between Pablo Picasso and Miquel Barceló, enriched with archaeological pieces from the art museums in Almería and Cádiz. The visual walkthrough connects both artists through one of the oldest and most universal media: ceramics. Contemporary works engage in conversation with objects from the past, creating a space where techniques and ways of working with clay, from prehistory to the present day, come together under a single conceptual language enhanced by photographs of the works on display and the artists’ studios.
