About

Corpus Bookshop, a new independent bookshop specialised in architecture, design, visual arts, urbanism and politics, has opened at Rue Arthur Diderich 83, Place Albert (Forest / Saint-Gilles), offering an international selection of books and magazines for professionals, students and curious readers.

Located on Place Albert, just next to Bar du Matin and a few steps from Albert bus and tram stops, Corpus Bookshop brings together carefully selected titles from international publishers, with a strong focus on contemporary architecture, graphic design, landscape, ecology, theory and critical writing about cities and societies. The aim is to create a welcoming space where books, conversations and events connect the worlds of architecture, art and public debate.

Beyond the shelves, the bookshop will host small-scale talks, book presentations and collaborations with local institutions, practices and schools in Brussels.

In addition to the bookshop, Corpus will run a gallery space presenting work by creative practitioners from Brussels and beyond, in disciplines connected to its editorial line. The gallery is conceived as an open door into the city’s creative ecosystem, hosting exhibitions that resonate with architecture, design, image-making and critical thinking
